Rental Tech: Winter

This role is for Winter 2025/2026.

Basic Function and Overview: Rental attendants provide an outstanding experience for our guests. Attendants assist and outfit guests with a variety of rental equipment in a timely, professional manner. They also process payments and answer guest queries in a fast-paced environment. This can be a physically demanding position requiring manual labor and lifting.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Help guests pick out appropriate size skis/snowboards.

Fit boots and adjust bindings to proper settings for comfort and safety.

Explain to guests how to operate rental equipment, safety practices and guest responsibility for the equipment during the rental including length of rental and return options.

Ensure equipment is clean, serviced and tested according to company standards.

Verify all signatures and initials on liability release form.

Contribute to team and adhere to all shift schedules.

Accurately use point-of-sale register handling monetary transactions.

Greet all guests with a smile and maintain a positive attitude at all times.

Follow company standards with regard to paperwork and cash management.

Deliver an enthusiastic and professional level of guest service at all times.

Adhere to all safety procedures.

Maintain all paperwork according to company policy.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Excellent customer service skills.

Knowledge of skis and snowboards and all related gear.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes holidays and weekends.

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous retail/rental experience is preferred.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
