Maintenance Manager - Cement Industry Required

Location: Tijeras NM

Industry: Manufacturing/Mining (Cement & Aggregates MFG Company)

Base Salary: $135k-$140k+ (Depending on experience)

Bonus: Yes - 18.75%

Relocation: Yes - $25k

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our mining facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of all equipment and machinery, leading a team of maintenance professionals, and implementing best practices to optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability and availability.

Supervise and lead the maintenance team in daily operations, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

Conduct regular inspections and assessments of equipment to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs.

Manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance work and minimize downtime of production activities.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to maintenance in the mining sector.

Qualifications

5+ Years of Heavy Industrial Maintenance Experience

Proven experience in maintenance management within the cement industry (Heavy Aggregates / Mining Industry experience will also be considered)

Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, equipment reliability, and safety standards.

Experience with MSHA regulations and compliance is highly desirable.

Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
