We are looking for a Senior Business Consultant to join our Management Team in a 'Chief of Staff' capacity to support the variety of organization, analytical, and managerial needs to manage a large business with thousands of employees and $1.8b of combined Revenue. Work on a variety of transactions in all stages, from initial client pitches to transaction closings.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Senior Business Consultant to join our Management Team in a 'Chief of Staff' capacity to support the variety of organization, analytical, and managerial needs to manage a large business with thousands of employees and $1.8b of combined Revenue. Work on a variety of transactions in all stages, from initial client pitches to transaction closings.

The Senior Business Consultant will work alongside the President of one of the two Kroll Business Units to manage Special Projects, Key Initiatives, and evolving priorities of Kroll's leadership team. The role will cover a wide range of topics, requiring a strong athlete to support:

Business Analytics and Finance

Sales, Marketing, and Business Development (Revenue Office)

Communications, PMO, and BU Operations

Human Capital and Recruiting

Strategy and Growth

Business Analytics and Finance

Review, audit, support business segment financial performance, service line budgets, forecasts, etc.

Prepare QBR and reporting to be presented to Executive Leadership Team

Bespoke analytics and financial analysis to pressure test investment opportunities and develop projections on material initiatives

Ability to operate in highly confidential and critical business demands (e.g. compensation strategy, acquisitions, cost transformation)

Liaise with Insights and Analytics team to provide input into models and common metrics definitions

Identifying actionable insights as requirements to metrics dashboard to enable more real time decision making

2. Sales, Marketing, and Business Development (Revenue Office)

Connectivity to the lead of the BU Revenue Office to support bespoke needs, strategies, operational changes, etc.

Help drive connectivity of overall BU Strategy to Marketing strategy

Where opportunities arise, provide self-driven business development opportunities from personal network of relationships

3. Communications, PMO, and BU Operations

Support monthly and quarterly business reviews as well as Board Meetings to ensure preparation, clarity of message, and alignment across leadership

Support operating meeting cadence of BU Presidents to help prioritize key meetings, needs, and initiatives each week

Discrete focus in 2024-25 on managing Cost Transformation project, savings targets, and operational changes alongside BU Operations team

Support data analysis on staffing, hiring, utilization, and more

Assist in implementation of new ERP system to Microsoft Dynamics

Partner with Service Line COO's to create common processes and metrics

4. Human Capital and Recruiting

Develop reasonable and transparent KPIs like revenue per MD, revenue per CSP and goals for improvement

Work alongside Workforce Shaping team to support long-term team planning and hiring needs

Assist in review and maintenance of compensation frameworks and updates to drive growth and profitability

Bespoke recruiting support, specifically for MD candidates where BU President is involved

5. Strategy and Growth

Maintain and update broader Risk Advisory strategy documentation

Work with Corporate Development team when acquisition opportunities arise

Create playbooks and drive strategic initiatives and programs for Risk Advisory

Essential Traits:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management (with a concentration in Finance) or Economics from an Accredited University or College or a minimum of 5 years of financially focused work experience (investment banking experience preferred)

Demonstrated track record of superior academic and work performance; demonstrated commitment to outstanding results

Work experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or related industries. Understanding of the pace, expectations, working environment, and cadence of a large professional services organization

Demonstrates an understanding of financial statement analysis, the merger & acquisition process, and company valuation techniques (discounted cash flow analysis, public company multiples, transaction multiples)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to develop and deliver board level documentation on business updates, initiatives, and more

Experience working with diverse teams

Ability to master new tasks quickly, prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment

Demonstrated leadership experience and strong personal integrity

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with focus on Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Experience working with C-Level executives preferred

Flexibility to travel, as needed

The current salary range for this position is $70,000 to $200,000
