ETL Developer

Title: ETL Developer

Location: Columbus Ohio - hybrid- 3 days a week onsite - MUST RELOCATE TO COLUMBUS OHIO

Contract to hire!

Responsibilities:

Translate requirements and data mapping documents into a technical design.

Develop, enhance, and maintain code following best practices and standards.

Execute unit test plans and support regression/system testing.

Debug and troubleshoot issues found during testing or production.

Communicate project status, issues, and blockers with the team.

Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and addressing opportunities.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or military experience in a related field (preferably computer science).

Minimum of 3 years of experience in ETL development within a Data Warehouse.

Understanding of enterprise data warehousing best practices and standards.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in ETL development (Datastage).

Minimum of 3 years of experience writing SQL queries.

Minimum of 3 years of experience with Python.

Minimum of 2 years of cloud experience with AWS.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the financial services (banking) industry.

Understanding of enterprise data warehousing best practices and standards.

Experience in software engineering, including designing and developing systems.

Experience with DataStage and SSIS ETL development.

Understanding of Authentication & Authorization Services, Identity & Access Management.
