Description:

The Sundeck Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and enjoyable

environment for residents while delivering a high standard of service that reflects the luxury of

the community. This position requires 6 hours per day on Saturdays and Sundays.

Core Responsibilities

• Enforce sundeck rules, when noticing users not complying, including appropriate attire, quiet hours, and no-glass policies.

• Reporting incidents or noticed potential hazards

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area, including wiping down furniture,

removing debris, and resetting umbrellas and chairs when other duties permit the time to

do so..

• Enforcing guest and capacity limits when noticeable breach of guest limit has taken place.

• Promptly report any maintenance issues, such as damaged furniture, lighting problems.

Added-Value Service

• Provide clean, rolled towels to residents upon arrival.

• Offer Lavender infused cold wash cloths

• Offer complimentary chilled or fruit-infused water at a designated station.

• Set up lounge chairs and umbrellas upon request.

• Perform light cleaning tasks, such as polishing glass railings or spot-cleaning outdoor

furniture.

• Track towel usage and ensure proper returns if towels are provided.

• Maintain a small amenity station with sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and other essentials.

Luxury Resident Experience

• Greet residents by name and deliver a warm, professional presence.

• Support seasonal poolside events (e.g., popsicle days, smoothie Saturdays, towel

folding activities).

• Turn on provided appropriate poolside music that complements the community

atmosphere.

• Gather and relay resident feedback or service requests to management promptly.

• Report needed maintenance of bathrooms, grills and lounge areas to

building maintenance staff when noticed. Perform light clean-up of these areas when

noticeable garbage is present.
