Job Scope:

We're hiring part-time independent contractor to support Manheim Auto Auction in Daytona Beach. This is an outdoor position assisting with jump-starting vehicles during auction day. You'll work directly with the Lane Leader to check vehicles and identify those needing a battery jump. A wheeled jumpbox will be provided to help you access vehicles efficiently across the lot.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist during auction day to ensure all vehicles are operational for the lanes.

Work closely with the Lane Leader to identify vehicles that need jump-starts.

Safely operate a battery jumpbox on wheels to jump-start vehicles throughout the auction lot.

Perform battery checks and basic troubleshooting when needed.

Maintain awareness of safety procedures while working around moving vehicles and in outdoor conditions.

Ensure all assigned vehicles are ready and in place before and during the auction process.

Communicate effectively with auction staff and follow instructions promptly.

Handle equipment with care and report any malfunctions or concerns immediately.

Remain on-site and available during the scheduled auction hours.

Qualifications:

Experience in digital and computer processing a plus

Basic computer software skills are preferred

Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time

Valid drivers license and safe driving record required.

Successful completion of background check and drug test

Wednesday 1pm - 6pm
