Automation Developer Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automation Developer Analyst to lead and support automation initiatives across business and IT functions.

This role involves analyzing workflows, designing automation solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, experience with API testing, and a solid understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

Lead automation initiatives from concept to deployment, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT standards.

Analyze existing workflows and processes to identify automation opportunities.

Design and develop automation scripts, bots, and workflows using RPA platforms and scripting tools.

Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions.

Maintain and optimize existing automation solutions for performance and reliability.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and developers.

Document automation processes, configurations, and support procedures.

Ensure compliance with security, governance, and change management policies.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience in IT or business process automation.

Proficiency in automation tools such as Karate, Rest Assured, JUnit5, Cucumber, or similar tools requiring programming.

Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.

Experience with testing REST APIs.

Solid understanding of process mapping, business analysis, and workflow optimization.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
