As a Care Consultant with our HIA Health Community Relations team, you will work with professionals and community members to form trust and understanding about their choices when it comes to hospice care. If you are a relationship builder, connector, and would like to be an advocate for compassionate care for families with a loved one going through their end-of-life journey, we would like to talk with you!

Position Summary

Creates new and maintains or enhances existing relationships with referral sources in our service area with the primary objective of growing hospice/palliative care appropriate referrals.Engages health care professionals and community organizations and facilities to provide valuable information and promote HIA Health.Also develops a territory sales and marketing plan to generate referrals.

This is a full-time position and will work out of our Bismarck office and serve the surrounding communities.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Passion to advocate and educate healthcare professional and community connecting people to the right care at the right time in the right place.

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or business administration or other related field- optional

Healthcare professional or individual with referral development, Marketing or sales background preferably in the healthcare environment, with a minimum of two years of experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Self-starter with ability to create leads.

Able to maintain an organized approach to territory management and work with limited supervision.

Able to support and promote the Hospice philosophy to referral sources in the medical industry.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Formal sales training highly preferred.

Hospice/LTC experience, preferred.

Ability to travel within assigned territory.
