Join Our Team as a Pastorate Business Manager for Holy Angels Pastorate!

Are you a dynamic, organized individual with a passion for supporting the mission of the Catholic faith? We are seeking a talented Pastorate Business Manager to join the leadership team for Holy Angels Pastorate in southeast South Dakota. This role is crucial to the success of our pastorate, as you will be responsible for overseeing the financial, administrative, and operational aspects for all business and administrative operations across the Pastorate.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversees the financial management, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable for the Pastorate

Advise the Pastor on budgeting and investments to support responsible stewardship

Supervise and train office staff

Ensure compliance with diocesan policies and procedures

Promote efficient day-to day operations in service to the Pastorate's mission

Prepare and monitor the annual budget

As a Pastorate Business Manager, you will work from St Agnes Parish in Vermillion and will play a vital role in helping the Pastorate fulfill its mission of spreading the teachings of the Catholic Church to the community. Your dedication and expertise will help ensure the continued success and growth of our pastorate.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred

Strong organizational and leadership skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Knowledge of Catholic teachings and traditions

Prior experience in financial management or administration
