Summary
Without the strength of our Fabricating team, we would not be able to offer the industry-leading service we're known for. We're seeking an experienced Fabrication Manager Professional. The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience as a Fabrication Manager.
As a strong communicator and skilled hands-on Fabrication manager, you will be responsible for supervising and ensuring product specification compliance for welding and fabrication duties. The supervisor will receive drawings/ jobs orders from the program engineer and/or production manager. The fabrication manager will review and ensure job specifications are met, validate set-up and work product are in compliance with engineering specifications. In addition, you will be supporting departments to ensure compliance and accurate completion of jobs and continuously improve production control. The supervisor will be familiar with a variety of concepts, practices and procedures in the welding and fabrication fields. The supervisor will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The supervisor should be able to perform a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. The Fabrication Manager will be responsible for the development of a team of welding/fab fitting professionals using effective communication. This position will be responsible for ensuring the team is compliant with company policies and standards.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Knowledge of precision fabrication of large and medium size structures.
Read welding per AWS and military specs, GTAW, GMAW
Certified Weld Inspector is a plus
Communicate with external and internal customers of Karman.
Communicate verbally and in writing to customers and managers
Ensure product conformity.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Must have strong blueprint reading skills and drawing interpretation
Minimum 10 years welding experience is required
Supervisory experience is required
Mist be able to work overtime
Must be Bi-lingual English-Spanish desired
