PURPOSE STATEMENT

JOB SUMMARY

The Vice President of Manufacturing reports directly to the COO and is responsible for the development and execution of the company's strategies, policies, and procedures for operations. This role owns the function of optimizing the performance of operational areas to collaboratively support the dynamic needs of a growing company.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and execute manufacturing strategies that support the company's growth, innovation, and financial objectives.

Lead and drive the operational excellence initiatives across all production facilities.

Operational Management:

Oversee day-to-day operations of manufacturing plants, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to production schedules.

Implement lean manufacturing principles and other process optimization techniques to increase productivity and reduce waste.

Manage the overall cost structure of manufacturing operations, with a focus on profitability and cost reductions without compromising quality.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure all products are manufactured to meet internal quality standards as well as industry regulations and customer expectations.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives, using data and feedback to optimize manufacturing processes and product quality. M E- O N E . C OM

Regulatory Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to manufacturing processes and employee safety.

Promote a strong health and safety culture within all facilities, ensuring compliance with safety.

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing manufacturing team, ensuring alignment with company culture and values.

Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability within all manufacturing sites.

Manage senior operations managers, plant managers, and other key manufacturing

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

10 or more years of experience in leadership

3+ years' experience at a Senior Level Operations or similar role

Bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in business-related discipline.

Proven track record of team leadership and capacity building, and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Demonstrated competency with strategic plan development and frameworks.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and CRM databases
