Job Description

To provide custodial services,including maintaining University Buildings consistent with MVSU and Facilities Management Department standard.

Perform various floor care and cleaning duties in order to keep the University clean and orderly

Required Qualifications

Must be knowledgeable of various cleaning methods

Must be able to read cleaning labels and instructions for cleaning solutions

Must be able to follow basic work instructions

Must be able to climb and work on stools,ladders,stairs, and elevated platforms with training and safety equipment

Must be able to write and complete required forms and paperwork on noted conditions in buildings such as leaky faucets,commodes out of order,lights out of order

Preferred Qualifications

Physical Demands

Lifting, standing, carrying, stooping, bending, walking, and climbing.
