To strengthen our team in Greensboro, NC, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated Night shift (5P-5A Cutter Operators. The Cutter Operator is to provide quality production by prompt and precise cutting of printed material. The Cutter Operator must also assist the Quality Assurance staff in an efficient manner. This position is located onsite in Greensboro, North Carolina and will not offer any relocation assistance at this time

Your Role

The Cutter Operator must be able and willing to do the following:

Read a precision ruler to 1/64 of an inch

Program computer and set the cutting machine for individual job specifications

Measure printed sheet to determine proper cut position for length, width, and proper flap position

Cut the paper to job specifications by using the cutting machine

Determine out of register print

Determine dry up and unacceptable copy quality and/or color

Be knowledgeable of Quality Assurance procedures and assist Quality Assurance staff

Know and maintain proper lubrication of cutting machine

Adjust and change cutting blade as needed

Complete the sign-off paperwork after verifying that the specifications have been met to customer's requirements

Your Profile

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with pharmaceutical printing or packaging industry desired

Basic computer skills

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee needs to have good hearing and vision. This position also requires the employee to: use hands and fingers in continuous lifting and stacking (repetitive) motions, stand for long periods of time, walk, pull up to 1,800 pounds (on manual pallet jack), and lift up to 80 pounds.
