and was acquired from Purity Foods, Inc.
in April 2017.
This facility specializes in handling organic and non-GMO grains including corn, soybeans, wheat, and spelt.
It offers a range of processed products such as organic wheat and spelt, as well as organic and conventional whole and white flours.
The facility also provides custom cleaning and milling services.
Position Overview This position is responsible for performing operations tasks involving the receiving, storage, cleaning, packaging and shipping of grain.
Key Responsibilities * Perform assigned food grain operations tasks including but not limited to general facility upkeep, sampling for quality, and packaging * Operate various types of mobile equipment such as a forklift, bobcat, or payloader * Identify and report food safety and quality issues to the facility supervisor * Perform lab grading and testing tasks, data input and completion of shipping and lab paperwork.
What is expected of you and others at this level * Has developed skills through formal training or considerable work experience * Works within established procedures * Completes work with a moderate degree of supervision Minimum Qualifications & Skills * High School Diploma or GED equivalent required * 1-2 years' relevant experience required * Prior mobile equipment experience or willingness to learn * Mechanical aptitude a plus * Good computer and customer service skills This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed.
