Mortgage Loan Processor

Location: Carmel, IN (On-site, Full-time)

Salary: $45,000-50,000

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm, 2 Sat a month 9am-1pm

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to join their team in Carmel, IN. This is a full-time, in-office position supporting residential mortgage loan files from application to closing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Work directly with loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers to collect and review all required documentation

Verify income, assets, credit, and supporting documents in compliance with investor and internal guidelines

Prepare files for underwriting submission and respond to conditions

Ensure accurate and timely entry of loan data into the LOS

Maintain pipeline management for multiple loans at various stages

Prepare closing documentation and coordinate final steps with internal and external partners

Support adherence to compliance and regulatory standards, including the Bank Secrecy Act

Provide exceptional service to borrowers throughout the process

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred

1-2 years minimum of mortgage loan processing experience required

Familiarity with Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM guidelines preferred

Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Proficient in common mortgage loan origination software systems

Important Notes:

This is a full-time, in-office position in Carmel, Indiana

Candidates with backgrounds in underwriting, operations management, or those looking to step back into a processing role will not be considered at this time
