Total Average Compensation: $25–$26/hour
Schedule: 35–40 hours/week Closed Sundays

As a Store Manager, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality grooming services to our pet friends. You’ll ensure dogs receive exceptional care while helping other team members complete their grooming services and also learn from you in a positive, professional environment.

What You’ll Do
· The Store Manager is a vital position at Scenthound, offering strong leadership, sales expertise, and exceptional customer service. This position requires:
o Management experience – Be a Mentor & a Coach
o Customer Service Experience (Retail and Restaurant)
o Membership-based business Experience (Orange Theory, Stretch Zone, etc)
o Sales Experience especially in Membership Sales; Up Sell and Cross Sell
o Train, coach, and mentor new and existing groomers, as required
o Support a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
o Maintain a positive, team-oriented atmosphere that fosters learning and open communication
o Monitor workflow, help where needed, ensure smooth daily operations, make improvement recommendations where needed
o Uphold all sanitation and safety standards to protect dogs and team members
What We’re Looking For
We are searching for a Rockstar Manager who leads with integrity, honesty, and compassion. A successful GM is an independent problem solver, adaptable, detail-oriented, and a compassionate dog lover! We are looking for a HANDS-ON leader who can manage the day-to-day operations of the Scenter with emphasis on critical KPI’s: Schedule Adherence, Labor Efficiency Ratio, Average Ticket Price, Rebook Ratio, etc.
The person needs to be passionate about building a business. They need to be someone who is looking to grow into a GM of Operations overseeing multiple stores as we grow our business in the next 2 years and move to a salaried position.
What you will be doing
· Drive membership sales in-store and on the phone through health and wellness education
· Identify customer issues and drive up-sell of products and add-on services during visit
· Maintain a knowledgeable team that prioritizes dog wellness and safety
· Own responsibility for staff scheduling, on-time report to work, and schedule planning
· Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship for the Scenter employees
· Drive employee development through leadership, training, and performance reviews
· Uphold quality standards through hands-on participation, employee audits, and training
· Promptly and accurately communicate information from upper management to your team
· Identify when/ where help is needed and provide assistance to keep staff on schedule
· Create an environment conducive to teamwork, open communication, and Scenthound values
· Manage client expectations; Resolve customer concerns
· Ensure the safety of dogs and team members at all times
· Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices
