09/17/2025Pickerington Local School District is seeking qualified applicants for a 1.0 FTE English Learner (EL) Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year to split time between Sycamore Creek and Tussing Elementary School. Due to start date this contract is an automatic non-renewal.

Qualifications:

Valid Ohio certificate/license with TESOL endorsement

At least three years of teaching experience preferred

Excellent communication skills both orally and written

Bilingual candidate preferred

Experience and knowledge of current trends in working with EL students

Ability to work well with students, staff and diverse populations

Ability to maintain and respect confidential information and situations

Ability to communicate in a variety of ways in order to serve the needs of students and parents
