Job Summary
This position will oversee the Beautification litter collection crews, including inmate and contract labor. Will monitor crew assignments and performance, ensuring litter collection aligns with City's Beautification efforts. Will assist Beautification Manager with lawn care and landscaping contract management.
Major Duties
Coordinates and assigns the litter collection crews and routes.
Provides supervision to crew associates.
Assists Beautification Manager with education, code enforcement and code compliance, including identification of possible violations and appropriate documentation.
Assists Beautification Manager with lawn maintenance contractor oversight.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma equivalent GED.
Prior experience in supervisor or as a crew leader is required.
Must be proficient with computers, including Microsoft office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe and other applicable systems or software.
A valid driver's license for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
Knowledge of code enforcement principles and practices.
Knowledge of relevant city codes and ordinances.
Knowledge of computers and job-related software programs.
Knowledge of effective customer service strategies.
Skill in conducting site inspections.
Skill in maintaining files and records.
Knowledge of lawn maintenance and contract management.
Knowledge of Sustainability, Recycling, and Beautification Programs.
Skill in oral and written communication.

This position has direct supervision over the Litter Crews and contract or inmate labor.
