Case Manager II - Global Visa Specialist

The Case Manager II - Global Visa Specialist is an integral part of the firm's Global practice, working under the Global Practice Manager and Global Partner to play a critical role in the delivery of consular services to our clients. The bulk of the Case Manager's time is spent in client interaction and interfacing with consulates in various countries where the firm's clients are located or traveling.
Responsibilities:
Case management
Under the supervision of attorneys and managers, manage clients' consular cases from initiation to conclusion including establishing case strategy
Independently lead client calls for consular cases
Maintain accurate records and update internal databases in a timely and consistent manner
Adhere to current WR and client-specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Promptly alert attorneys and managers of any case escalations so that they may be addressed
Client management
Proactively manage clients' consular programs to ensure that clients are provided with strategic advice to ensure the smooth functioning of their consular programs, including not just active case processing but also reporting (including building new reports), establishment of policies and programs and compliance initiatives
Prepare consular sections of client presentations for attorney or manager review and delivery
Knowledge sharing + management
Develop and implement WR-specific consular case workflows, including utilizing WRapid and other necessary technology platforms daily
Develop an advanced understanding of the consular requirements for the countries in which the firm's clients are traveling, including staying up to date on these requirements as they change
Utilize existing organizational tools and participate in the development of new tools and processes to facilitate management of a high volume of consular cases at any given time
Serve as a subject matter expert for the firm's global consular practice and assist in training junior team members on same and/or serving as a case mentor on same
Review consular case-related drafts from more junior team members as assigned by manager or attorney
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with strong academic record
3+ years of experience in global mobility or international immigration
Excellent organization and time management skills
Superb attention to detail
Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Clear and effective communication skills, especially in a professional email setting
Pay may vary based on location and experience. The anticipated salary range for this position is $55,000 to $75,000. Interested candidates must provide a resume and cover letter in order to be considered for the position.
