Job Title: Preconstruction Manager

Job Location: Southlake, TX

Salary: $140k-$160k + Strong Health Benefits / 401k Match / Vehicle / etc.

Requirements: 7+ Years Experience with Estimating / Preconstruction. Experience in any of the following projects: Commercial, Higher Education, K-12, Municipal, etc.

This is a full time / permanent position with a 250-person Design/Build General Contractor in the DFW area.

They are heavily focused in commercial and Municipal construction projects but have wide range of projects across higher education, K-12, Commercial, etc.

What You Will Be Doing

Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to understand the scope of work.

Lead the preconstruction phase from concept to contract

Manage bid packages, subcontractor outreach, and scope alignment to ensure competitive and complete proposals

Analyze project requirements and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.

Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project budgets.

What You Need for this Position

7+ Years Experience with Estimating / Preconstruction.

Projects related to any of the following: Commercial, Municipal, Healthcare, etc.

Proficiency in estimating software

Excellent analytical and mathematical skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong organizational and time management skills

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
