Normal Work Schedule (Other):: Employee will work 3:00 pm-9:30 pm, Monday- Friday, while students are at school, during the 2025-2026 school year. Total of 30 hours weekly.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for the Afternoon Activity Helper:

To supervise students during weekday activities and help with student supervision as needed. Employee will report directly to Assistant Director of Residential Life and Director of Residential Life. Employee will supervise students in an activity settings in the school gym, Activity room and off campus. Employee will follow all departmental and school policies. Employee will use good judgement and safety protocols. Work environment will change depending on activity or task assigned to be completed. Employee may work outside, work inside, and transport students in state vehicles. 1 position available. Will assist the Recreation Specialist with afternoon and evening activities, supervise activity spaces, transport students to and from activities, assist with the set up and cleanup of activities.

Supervise students in Activity Room.

Assist with evening activities.

Assist with student TILL time.

Set up and cleanup activities.

Supervise students participating in on-campus and off-campus activities, as assigned.

Transport students around campus as needed.

Transport students to activities, both on and off campus using a state vehicle.

Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Must have a high School diploma and have a valid driver's license.Additional Requirements:

Must be able to lift 30 pounds.

Must have the ability to hear, speak and understand English.

Must be able to use a computer for reporting purposes.

Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to drive a state or of South Carolina vehicle.

Must have effective communication skills and the ability to work independently and with others.
