Maintenance Engineer

HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Engineer in the manufacturing industry in St. Louis, MO!

Salary: $30-$40 Hour (BOE)

Shift: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

Location: St. Louis, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Install, rebuild, and maintain equipment controls including PCs, PLCs, and custom controllers.

Program and troubleshoot electronic control circuits for specialized production equipment.

Work with servos, encoders, relays, sensors, light curtains, and multiple control systems.

Troubleshoot and repair PC-based controls, network interfaces, and CNC equipment.

Interpret and write PLC ladder logic programs and associated circuits.

Create bills of materials and complete projects involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and facilities.

Weld, braze, and fabricate components as needed.

Operate forklifts after certification and track repair costs.

Education Requirements:

Associate's degree in electronics, PC technology, or industrial technology OR 4-5+ years of relevant controls experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and circuit drawings.

Skilled in building/wiring control panels, programming, and debugging systems.

Strong troubleshooting skills for hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, CNC, and electrical systems.

Proficient in soldering, wiring harnesses, and electrical connectors.

Welding and brazing experience.

Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) and ability to pass eye exam.
