Travel RN - Pediatric ICU

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Pediatric ICU (PICU) position, requiring EPIC experience and the ability to float to multiple units.

Job Details

• Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) within a hospital setting,

• Float as needed to NICU, CV PICU, Emergency Department, stepdown, and med-surg units,

• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM,

• Must be available to work through the New Year holiday,

• Uses EPIC EMR; prior experience required,

Job Requirements

• Active OH State or Compact RN license in hand,

• At least two years of PICU RN experience highly preferred,

• EPIC EMR experience required,

• Two references required, with at least one from a manager or supervisor,

• No previous permanent employment at the facility within the last two years,

• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted),

• First-time travelers considered with more than three years of experience and Level 1 Trauma experience,

Additional Information

• Must be willing to float to other units as directed, with assignments provided based on experience and unit needs,

• Late arrivals past three minutes are considered late per policy,

• No on-call responsibilities,

• RTO requests must be less than five days; no block scheduling allowed,

• First-time travelers are considered based on unit preference and experience level,
