Long Term Spanish Substitute Teacher / NEW Long Term and Retiree Rate

Job Summary

The substitute will cover a long term leave of absence for High School Spanish. We are near Humphreys College and the Troke Library in north Stockton. Class sizes are small, usually around 20 with 25 being the maximum for core classes. The school day runs from 7:30 am - 3:35. Classes start at 8:30 am - 3:00 pm (TK-6th) and 8:30 am - 3:35 pm (7th -12th) with a 35 minute duty-free lunch period. Many of our substitutes have been invited to become full-time teachers based on their performance while subbing. In addition, we are offering a new rate for retired teachers.

The qualifications for retired teachers are listed below.

STRS Retired after 10+ years in same district

Retired in good standing

Valid California Teaching Credential
