About the role:
The position is responsible for compliance to tax and statutory reportorial requirements.
What you will do:
External Reporting
Reporting to government agencies
Coordinate activities related to financial statements audit, highlight audit issues to stakeholders, and ensure audit completion in accordance with timetable
Tax compliance and reporting
Corporate Income Tax calculation
Ensure on-time filing and payment of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns including reports and attachments
Preparation of reports for submission to Group Tax i.e. Quarterly Tax Package, Uncertain tax position report, and FIN48 calculation
Coordinate activities related to tax audit or investigation
Financial reporting
Booking of entries related to tax, pension, and payroll
Review of payroll reports and reconciliations
Review of accounting schedules
Pension accounting
Review of monthly fund performance report
Coordinate with actuary for year-end pension valuation
What you will need:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Finance and Accounting in a manufacturing company
Knowledgeable in Philippine Financial Reporting Standards and Taxation
Good knowledge in financial systems; computer literate; analytical skills
Strong drive for improvement
Good oral and written communication skills
With experience in handling financial statements audit and tax investigation
