Description

Key Responsibilities

Inspect Facilities: Regularly inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues or maintenance needs.

Perform Repairs: Repair broken or malfunctioning equipment, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Preventive Maintenance: Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to avoid potential breakdowns and ensure optimal operation of equipment.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work carried out, including inventory management of supplies and equipment.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong technical knowledge in various maintenance areas, including plumbing, electrical systems, and some HVAC.

Excellent problem-solving abilities to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.

Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and report on maintenance activities.

Physically capable of performing maintenance tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50-75lbs.

This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance and being able to identify potential issues before they escalate.

Must be familiar with various tools, testing devices and specialized machinery.

Work Environment

This position will include working both indoors and outdoors and may be required to work occasional evenings or weekends in emergency situations.

The work environment can be physically demanding, requires the ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces and perform tasks that include climbing ladders and operating machinery.

$22.00-$25.00 Hourly
