Quality Assurance Technician

This position is responsible for performing routine analytical testing of canola seed, oil and meal products with a focus on chemical analysis, product quality and results analysis.

What you’ll do

Conduct routine analytical testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with company and customer specifications.

Record and enter test data accurately using computerized systems.

Maintain product samples and prepare chemical reagents.

Perform inspections to meet regulatory and internal requirements.

Conduct long-method chemistry tests and calibrate lab equipment.

Operate, quality check, and troubleshoot lab instruments.

Prioritize safety and food safety in all tasks and decisions.

What you bring to our team

High school diploma or equivalent.

A degree or technical diploma in chemistry is an asset.

At least one year of related experience.

Strong math, computer, and sensory analysis skills.

Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
