POSITION SUMMARY
Student intern - will gain hands-on experience from preliminary design concepts to production aircraft. This includes design of aircraft systems or airframe details and assemblies, detail analysis of mass properties data, learning and supporting sustaining tasks and also involve in the aircraft delivery process to the customer. Under the guidance of senior level engineers, They will perform basic engineering responsibilities associated with conceptualizing, researching, developing, and supporting the assigned product platform as it relates to engineering aspects of primary and secondary structural components.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with a team of engineers to design aircraft systems or airframe details and assemblies for Textron Aviation products.
Duties will include one or more of the following fields: airframe, flight controls, Interiors, environmental controls, or hydraulics.
Complete either new design or modifies existing design of primary and secondary structure and control surfaces (layouts, detail parts, assemblies, installation drawings)
Responsible for provisioning for and integration of aircraft subsystems such as Mechanical Systems, Propulsion System, Electrical/Avionics Systems, and Interiors
Investigate and resolve production and field issues as identified both through the internal quality system and customer feedback using a systematic approach to root cause analysis and corrective actions
Use and apply engineering principles, theories, concepts and techniques to support Textron Aviation products.
