Job Summary
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. The role involves supervising housekeeping staff, conducting inspections, monitoring supplies, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards. Based in Baguio City, the Housekeeping Supervisor plays a key role in delivering excellent guest satisfaction by maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and adherence to cleaning standards.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to maintain quality and safety.
Provide training, guidance, and support to housekeeping team members to enhance performance and service standards.
Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment.
Address guest requests, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations, including proper waste management.
Assist in scheduling and assigning daily tasks to staff, ensuring adequate coverage of operations.
Job Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field is an advantage.
Minimum of 2 years experience in housekeeping operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role (hotel or resort setting preferred).
Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and hygiene standards.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to train, motivate, and supervise a diverse team.
Flexible to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
Willingness to work in Baguio City.
