Position Summary

This position is responsible for conducting physical cycle counts, tracking inventory, operating shipping and receiving, conducting audits, and maintaining records. Synova is a food grade facility all Personnel must adhere to GMPs, SQF, and maintain high levels of safety, quality, sanitation and customer service. They will assist the production technicians as needed and will report to the Production Supervisor.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Use our EAP system to monitor the flow of goods, manage stock levels, and conduct physical cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy for corporate reports.

Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments, verify quantity, quality of products and accuracy of paperwork

Utilize FIFO stock and order rotation, monitor aging stock, and assist in organization of incoming and outgoing orders

Maintain accurate records including truck inspections, shipping documents, transfers, and locations

Determine when and what to order, establish, maintain, and adjust stock levels, implement procedures to improve inventory management and reduce cost.

Support facility sanitation program to ensure the site is perpetually audit ready.

Load the finished product using a forklift and motorized pallet jack

Assist as needed in any other production functions

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

Three years in a production environment, preferably in the food industry.

Build a collaborative relationship with other team members

Demonstrated strong forklift driving abilities

Attention to detail and accuracy, sort, check, count, and verify numbers

Good mathematical background

Good communication skills (written and verbal); ability to listen, and excellent grammar

Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic

Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and Word

Competent organizing and prioritizing skills to work efficiently

Flexibility to adapt to all situations and work varied hours, possible weekends, or evenings

Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction

Experienced in computerized inventory management system
