Express Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical RN for a 13-week contract for an dynamic Hospital on Hawaii island.

13 week contract

36 hours per week

Overall hourly rate: $81.11

Per diem eligibility: $2200.00

Weekly Gross: $2920.00

Shifts: Day and NOC, 12hrs

The Med-Surg RN will provide direct and individualized nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced, acute care setting. This role involves managing a diverse patient population, including those recovering from surgery, managing chronic illnesses, or undergoing diagnostic procedures.

Job duties:

Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions.

Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed.

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.

Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, and post-discharge care.

Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements.

Nurse Qualifications:

Current State of Hawaii RN License

Minimum 3 years of recent RN acute experience (within the past 24 months/2 years)

Current CPR/BLS Certification

Current TB/2-Step TB/Chest X-Ray/QUANTIFERON

Federal FingerPrint

N95 Fit Test

Proof of vaccinations: MMR, TDAP, Varicella, COVID and FLU
