School Psychologist (PT or FT)

Onward Search Education partners with school districts across Kane County, IL to connect qualified professionals with meaningful school-based opportunities. We are currently seeking a School Psychologist for a PreK–5th grade assignment for the 2025–2026 academic year.

This role is ideal for a school psychologist who is committed to fostering student development through data-informed evaluations, collaborative problem-solving, and short-term counseling services.

Position Details:

Location: Kane County, IL

Schedule: 3 or 5 days per week, 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM

Age Group: PreK–5th grade

Caseload: Light individual counseling and evaluation-based assessments

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational assessments to inform eligibility and program planning

Provide individual and small-group counseling services as needed

Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families to support student success

Contribute to multidisciplinary IEP teams and student support initiatives

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements

Qualifications:

Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist Endorsement

Demonstrated experience conducting evaluations and developing data-driven recommendations

Prior experience working with elementary-aged students strongly preferred

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills What We Offer:
