In this key role, you will take on both the strategic and hands-on responsibility for developing and optimising customer-facing platforms, ensuring a seamless, modern, and high-performance user experience across web and mobile.

With your expertise, you will design and implement frontend solutions that make it easy and inspiring for customers to engage with our products. At the same time, you will work closely with backend, product, and design teams to ensure scalability, performance, and innovation — driving the evolution of our e-commerce platform and supporting international growth.

In this role, you’ll:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend components using Vue.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Vite

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers within the team

Take ownership of conceptual and architectural work for frontend projects

Write and review unit tests to ensure high-quality and reliable code (TDD is a strong plus)

Build and maintain API clients for seamless integration with backend systems

Monitor frontend error logs and performance metrics to proactively improve applications

Debug, test, and continuously optimise frontend components

Drive continuous improvements in usability, accessibility, and performance

Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Tech teams to deliver a consistent and engaging customer experience

Your Profile

6+ years of professional experience in writing modern JavaScript and TypeScript

Strong expertise with Vue.js

Proven experience with Vite as a modern frontend build tool

Deep knowledge of state management libraries such as Pinia or Vuex

Advanced knowledge of CSS, including confident use of utility-first frameworks like Tailwind CSS

Solid background in writing unit tests and applying testing best practices

Strong conceptual and architectural skills with the ability to shape technical approaches

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset in suggesting and implementing improvements

Previous working experience in an E-commerce environment is highly beneficial

Very good communication skills in English (German is an advantage but not required)

Please note that we are looking for support in the Stuttgart office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.

Benefits and Perks

Short decision-making processes, open communication, and room to implement your own ideas

Exciting responsibilities in an innovative and international working environment

A modern workplace in the center of Stuttgart with excellent transport connections

A variety of team events as well as internal training and professional development opportunities
