Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4-6 days per month on call

• Day shift Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

• Night shift 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM

• Weekend shifts Saturday-Sunday 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM

• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation

• 1:1 patient ratios

• Dress code requires black scrubs for radiology staff

• Work with GE Explorer Lift Signa 1.5T equipment

• Use Meditech EMR system

• Must have ability to work independently with radiologist availability for questions

• Must provide excellent patient care while maintaining safe MRI environment

• Perform neuro exams including MRAs and MRIs of head, neck, and spine

• Conduct abdominal exams including MRCPs, MRAs-MRIs of aorta, liver, and kidneys

• Complete MSK exams including extremities and arthrograms

• Ability to adapt protocols for patients or physician needs preferred

• Willingness to learn from onsite and virtual applications for new procedures preferred

Facility:

This 309-bed Level II Trauma Center features a modern imaging department with advanced MRI technology. The facility is planning a software upgrade from GE 23X to the newest GE 30X with AirDL, providing faster scans and new neuro and abdominal sequences. Future growth includes plans for a second scanner and department expansion. The imaging department maintains comprehensive safety policies and built-in scanner protocols for easy access and guidance, creating an efficient and safe working environment.
