CNC Machinist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Machinist to join our team at a well-established manufacturing company in the Montgomery, AL area.

You will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC Milling and CNC Lathe machines to produce precision parts and components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Ensures production runs efficiently and parts meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC Milling and CNC Lathe machines to produce parts to blueprint specifications.

Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders.

Load raw materials and inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality.

Perform basic CNC programming and adjustments as needed for both mill and lathe machines.

Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain tolerances.

Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.

Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with engineers or supervisors to resolve problems.

Maintain accurate production records and adhere to safety protocols.

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience operating both CNC Mill and CNC Lathe machines.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.

Familiarity with inspection and measuring tools.

Good organizational and time-management skills.

The pay range is $22.00 - $24.00 per hour and is a Try & Hire placement.
