LMD - a change agency, is seeking an experienced Multimedia Specialist to join our award-
winning team. Are you a content creator who loves the magic and storytelling through video? We are currently
hiring a Videographer/Video editor to create digital content for our FDA client, focused on the
organization and mission with food and drugs. In this creative role, you will develop creative
content using videos. Experience must include video production, video editing, motion graphics,
and working knowledge of video equipment and editing software. Experience with podcasting and
live streaming is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Support a food and drug focused organization by staying up to date with the video industry
trends and tools to ensure projects are marketable and efficient.
Collaborate with creative staff – from writers to producers– to provide visual options that
deliver a powerful message.
Make technical and artistic decisions on lens choice, exposure, lighting, composition,
filters, camera movement, color grading, and more for shoots.
Prepare and pack the camera and related equipment to meet shooting objectives.
Plan storyboards, shot lists, and shooting schedules to meet objectives.
Able to multitask on multiple video projects at once.
Capture and edit videos, including adding motion graphics in support of the FDA mission.
Has experience with podcasting and live streaming.
Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience (3 years of motion graphic experience required).
Currently holds, or can obtain, DHS Fitness Determination.
BS/BA in Fine Arts, Media and Design, Information Technology, or related field.
Strong communication skills. You need to be the intermediary between creative staff and
client.
High level of experience with multiple camera brands and lenses, and camera support
systems including sliders, gimbals, jibs, and Steadicams.
Job Location(s):
This position’s primary location will be at the FDA’s office in White Oak, Maryland, with occasional need at FDA’s studio in Gaithersburg, Maryland. This position may also require travel to other local studios as well as some weekend work.
Salary Range:
$75,000 - $85,000 a year
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, weekends as needed
