Commercial Refrigeration Technician - Food Manufacturing - Base Salary to 130k/year - Union, NJ

Our client, a leading food manufacturer in Union, NJ, is hiring a Lead Refrigeration Technician to join their team as they bring refrigeration maintenance in-house for the first time. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with strong long-term growth potential

Responsibilities:

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration systems

Perform preventative maintenance and ensure system reliability

Work with production to meet facility cooling and storage needs

Ensure compliance with food safety and refrigeration standards

Qualifications:

5+ years in industrial or commercial refrigeration (not just HVAC)

Experience with cold storage, ammonia systems, or blast/tunnel freezers

Strong understanding of food facility safety and compliance

Compensation:

Base salary in the 100k - 130k/year range
