Inside Sales Representative - Building Products Showroom - Base Salary to 50k/year - Hoboken, NJ

Our client, a well-established, family-owned Building Products company, is currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative to be a windows brand expert supporting the Sales Manager at their Hoboken, NJ showroom location.

The Inside Sales Representative will become a “brand ambassador,” providing product demonstrations and managing customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

Onsite, Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 5pm; windows and doors showroom

Initial structured training / learning (30-90 days); Learn product line, take notes, learn blueprints, create quotes, sales shadowing

Attend to customers (homeowners, builders/ contractors) visiting the showroom

Follow up on warm incoming sales leads (via email/ phone)

Act as the product expert for specific brand window products

Guide customers through product selection

Use industry software to create quotes and contracts; collect deposits

Perform follow-up with customers in all phases of the sale

Qualifications:

HS Diploma or Equivalent; some college a plus

Sales experience in the Building Products/ Construction Industry (windows, doors, lumber, hardware) is helpful – “Marvin” windows knowledge is a huge plus!

Ability to learn product details & specifications quickly to become an expert including ability to learn blueprints/ product drawings/ specs

Proficient in computer software and ability to learn customized programs

Compensation:

Base salary to 50k/year, plus commission 8-12% of the profit on sales

Bonus program (holiday, potential profit sharing for a great year)

PTO accrue up to 10 days, Paid Holidays approx. 9 - per year
