Financial Controller

Make Your Mark as a Financial Controller at Storio group About the Role: We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our team at Hofmann in Spain.

You will report to the Director of Accounting and be the go to person for all monthly and annual financial reporting for Hofmann entities.

Your main job is to make sure all internal and external financial statements and compliance needs are handled on time and accurately.

You will have a senior accountant on your team to support you with daily tasks.

How you embrace curiosity daily

You oversee all accounting for our three Hofmann entities.

You prepare monthly financial reports for group management.

You analyze financial deviations from the budget and prior years.

You work closely with our Accounting Service Centre to ensure all Hofmann transactions are recorded correctly.

You help other departments with budget preparation and monitoring.

You provide information to support cash flow forecasting.

You manage and guide a senior accountant, offering support and performance management

How you make your mark

You handle all corporate compliance like VAT and statistical returns.

You are the main point of contact for external auditors and tax and legal advisors.

You prepare and supervise the annual accounts for the three group companies.

You find opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency.

You build and maintain strong relationships with the Accounting Service Centre and other departments.

What you bring to the team

You have a background as a Financial Controller or in a similar financial management role.

You are fluent in English and Spanish.

You have experience with accounting software like Oracle Fusion, Navision, and APRO.

You have excellent communication skills and can explain complex financial information clearly.

You have strong analytical skills and can make data driven decisions.

What sets you apart

You have professional accounting qualifications like CPA, ACCA, or CIMA.

You have experience with international accounting standards.

You have foreign language skills like German, French, or Dutch.
