Video Editor (Independent Contractor - Remote)

Job Description

We are looking for a video editor to transform raw footage from our interviews and events into finished episodes and short-form content for YouTube and social media. This is a flexible, remote contractor role—perfect for students, freelancers, or creatives who enjoy storytelling through video.

Responsibilities:

Edit raw video into polished episodes for YouTube and other platforms.

Create short clips, reels, and highlight videos for Instagram and Facebook.

Add simple titles, graphics, and captions as needed.

Deliver final files optimized for web and social media use.

Qualifications:

Experience with video editing software (CapCut, Canva, iMovie, Adobe Premiere, or similar).

Creativity in pacing, music, and storytelling.

Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
