OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and a strong understanding of construction site operations. This role involves working with different materials and performing tasks that require precision and attention to detail. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lays out, positions and secures parts and assembles according to specifications

Designs, fabricates, installs and/or repairs various types of metal objects and structures by using various welding techniques

Installs or repairs equipment such as heavy equipment, bins, etc.

Operates drill presses, grinders, power saws, metal lathes and a variety of welding equipment and hand tools

Welds components and assemblies using arc and/or other welding equipment

Welds components in flat, vertical or overhead positions

Recommends supplies and materials to be ordered

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Graduate/GED

Must be able to speak and write in English language

Be safety oriented

Must have own transportation and possess current driver license

Minimum of two years of welding experience or completion of an accredited two to four year welder's training program

Skills in the fabrication, joining and repair of variety of metal objects, equipment, fixtures and structures

Willing to work weekends

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Able to work independently

Must work outdoors

Pass a pre-employment drug test

Island Recycling, a well established company is growing and in search of general labors for their busy Campbell location. Island Recycling collects and exports various scrap material (ie. aluminum, steel, glass, plastic, etc) to companies that re-use the scrap material in their production process. Island Recycling has been in business since 1984.
