Summary
You will be working within an on-call Windows/Linux support team, in the support of various customer solutions within a secure environment. Any automation, AI or cloud skills will be an asset in future proofing the environment.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and manage Windows/Linux environments to ensure high availability
Manage and configure Virtual Server Environments (VSphere, MS Hyper-V or Openshift)
Vulnerability Investigation and Remediation
Experience with administering NetBackup and RSA
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to create documentation and a proficient communicator
Proficiency in Windows, Linux and/or Unix
Working knowledge of software development life cycles
Ability to learn new development languages and techniques
Canadian Secret Level II Security Clearance
Critical Qualifications
Experience with Ansible Automation
Develop and administer security policies and procedures
Manage user authentication and security on the network
Engage with 3rd party vendors on product support issues and escalation procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
One or more years of experience as a Systems Administrator in a Windows/Linux environment
Windows Server 2022, 2019, and 2016 administration experience
Linux RedHat RHEL8-10 experience
Certificate Authority Administration experience
Hardware knowledge/Certification for Cisco UCS Servers
SAN (Dell Storage, Netapp and 3PAR) Data Management, cloud and switched fabric knowledge/ experience
Software development skills and experience in languages that includes PowerShell, Python, Perl, C/C++, etc.
Experience with version control systems
Experience in the Change Management Process
Microsoft MCSA or MCSE (preferably Server Infrastructure)
Additional Requirements
This position requires a valid Government of Canada Security Clearance at Level II (Secret).
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
