To manage the Commodities division in Indonesia and its sub-divisional business units, with P&L and operational responsibility aimed at achieving targets in revenue growth, operational/capex costs control, and operating profit margin.

Key Performance Indicators

Grow businesses in line with Group objectives and meet P&L targets for sales, operating profit, costs, and CAPEX.

Ensure KPI’s under the Business Management system are met and HSE targets are achieved as per regional and local KPI’s.

Deliver key strategic objectives as planned and agreed with Management.

Administer Offices and Labs to meet ISO 17025, 17020, and other relevant standards.

Responsibilities:

Achieve business unit budget objectives regarding operating profit margin, revenue, operating expenditure, and capital equipment utilization.

Improve staff and supervisory organization for better efficiency, service quality, and delivery focus.

Implement and maintain the company's quality program in accordance with Bureau Veritas Quality Management system.

Support client meetings to provide technical advice and resolve issues, including pricing and specifications.

Ensure health and safety compliance within the division.

Train staff to required expertise levels and monitor performance.

Monitor adherence to Group Policies and procedures.

Ensure operations comply with Bureau Veritas Code of Ethics.

Maintain good relationships with overseas offices and subcontractors, ensuring performance standards.

Qualifications:

Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree.

Minimum 10 years of experience in commodities inspection/testing, trading, or similar roles.

Experience in budgeting and P&L management.

Knowledge of Indonesia’s Metals & Minerals mining, exploration, and agricultural commodities trade.

Ability to identify and engage with clients, trading houses, and industry stakeholders for new business opportunities.

Self-driven with resilience to meet sales targets.

Ability to generate leads and identify growth areas.
