Software Development Project Manager

Location: Remote within 1-2 hours from Eastern time zone

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager who will lead and coordinate critical program and project areas for fast-paced software development and enhancement projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Effectively manage application development projects according to project plans and timelines, budget, ensure quality delivery of software products.

· Drive projects forward to ensure that deadlines and deliverables are on track

· Lead and manage teams associated with complex projects of varying types and sizes, applying the appropriate project management principles, techniques, and methodologies

· Drive core project communications, status reporting, executive updates, and ad hoc presentations.

· Identify and manage project risks and issues, develop plans to assess, manage, track, report, escalate, and mitigate them.

Requirements:

· Hands-on experience in full SDLC

· Technical understanding of programming (C#, .Net preferred)

· Outstanding time management, project management instincts

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Proven ability to manage geographically dispersed teams

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive schedules and multiple project deliverables

· Experience in managing gaming, interactive learning or training simulation product development is a plus
