The Role

We are looking for a Tax Assistant Manager or Manager to join our friendly and professional Tax team in Bexhill. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will manage your own portfolio of clients, support junior team members, and work closely with senior tax specialists.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of clients, providing expert tax advice and support

Oversee and mentor junior team members, ensuring workloads are managed effectively

Handle personal and capital gains tax matters (experience with inheritance tax, P11D forms, ATED returns, and trusts is desirable but not essential)

Work on corporation tax matters where required

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing a high level of service

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

Holds an ATT, CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualification with 4–5 years’ experience

Has experience managing client portfolios and supervising junior staff

Possesses strong knowledge of personal and capital gains tax

Has a genuine interest in tax and a desire to keep developing their expertise.

Delivers excellent customer service and builds strong working relationships

Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing

Benefits

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000
