Position: Journeyman Specialties Drywall Installer (Full-Time)

About Us:

SPADE Interiors Inc. is a specialty construction company known for its high-quality

craftsmanship and expertise in aesthetic and acoustic systems. We are currently

seeking a full-time, experienced Journeyman Specialties Drywall Installer to

oversee the installation of a wide range of acoustic and architectural products and

troubleshoot on-site issues.

Key Responsibilities:

The Specialties Drywall Installer will be responsible for:

Measure, cut, and install drywall panels on building walls and ceiling;

Secure drywall panels to the structural framework of the building;

Prepare panels by sawing, drilling, or cutting holes in panels for electrical outlets,

air-conditioning units, and plumbing;

Smooth out imperfections, apply sealing compound to fill gaps, and prepare

panels for painting;

Monitor inventory of materials to ensure that sufficient supplies are available for

each project;

Follow safety procedures and comply with company and industry regulations;

Collaborate with construction team members and other tradespeople as needed

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in specialties drywall installation, including but not limited

to:

Stretch wall systems

Wall and surface-mounted aluminum office systems (including various door

designs)

Acoustic ceiling systems (surface-mounted and free-hanging)

Drop-down baffle ceiling systems

Acoustic wall systems (including access panels and openings)

Aesthetic ceiling and wall systems finished to precise margins over large surface

areas

5+ years experience on residential job sites

5+ years experience on commercial job sites

Strong understanding of construction and safety codes

Ability to work with a team effectively

Excellent problem-solving skills with a proven record of meeting deadlines and

targets

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings

Must own a full set of tools relevant to specialty drywall installation (tools are not

provided)

Position Details:

Classification: Full-Time

Hours: 40 hours per week

Wage: $52.81 per hour
