Business Development Manager - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 52,500k/year - Gallatin, TN
AllSearch Recruiting has a client that is a U.S.-based manufacturer that produces premium truck bodies designed for landscaping, hauling, construction, equipment distribution, and agriculture. They are looking for a Business Development Manager that will grow the company with trailer sales nationwide. With headquarters in Tennessee and a nationwide dealer network, the organization has been consistently recognized as a top workplace.
Responsibilities:
Build and expand a nationwide dealer network to drive sales coverage and market penetration.
Prepare and deliver weekly sales forecasts to support pipeline visibility and strategic planning.
Generate and maintain weekly prospective dealer reports to track business development activity.
Participate in daily sales meetings, contributing updates, insights, and pipeline progress.
Engage new leads daily and conduct timely follow-up with past leads to maximize conversion opportunities.
Oversee product quality checks prior to shipment to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize returns.
Coordinate with production teams to monitor schedules and communicate accurate delivery timelines to customers.
Create detailed sales estimates, including product specifications and pricing, to provide accurate quotes for customers.
Qualifications:
3+ years successful sales experience (new business development is a plus)
Strong understanding of how to prioritize time and tasks in addition to managing a calendar and schedule flexibility
Responsible for developing one's schedule to include confirmed introductions with new business opportunities
Compensation:
Base salary up to 52,500k/year (non-negotiable) plus 4% annual commission
Anticipated commission earnings: 25,000-60,000 annually
Sign on bonus: 180 days: 2,500; 365 days: 5,000
