LHH is excited to announce an immediate opening for a Junior Accountant to join the dynamic team of a rapidly growing retailer. We are seeking candidates with 2–3 years of recent accounting experience who are eager to contribute their expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Prepare and post journal entries accurately and on time

Maintain the general ledger and ensure all accounts are reconciled regularly

Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes

Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records

Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

Prepare financial reports and schedules for internal use and external audits

Support budget preparation and variance analysis

Maintain and update fixed asset records and depreciation schedules

Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

Assist with tax filings, regulatory reporting, and other compliance tasks

Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Skills Needed to be Successful:

Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required

2+ years of experience in accounting or a related role

Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)

Strong Excel skills; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong verbal and written communication skills
