Registered Nurse – Leadership Role (Long-Term Care Setting)

Summary:

The RN in this leadership role ensures safe, high-quality resident care by overseeing nursing operations, staff management, compliance, and care planning. This position combines clinical expertise with supervisory responsibilities, focusing on quality improvement, EMR management, regulatory compliance, and resident-centered care.

Qualifications:

Graduate of accredited School of Nursing (RN required)

Active Registered Nurse license in state of practice

CPR/BLS certification

Supervisory/leadership experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Manage staffing, scheduling, and department budget

Lead nursing assessments, care plans, and evaluations per state/federal guidelines

Oversee EMR training, documentation, and reporting

Participate in surveys, audits, and quality initiatives (QA/CQI)

Ensure compliance with resident rights, abuse/neglect prevention, and antibiotic stewardship

Supervise and support nursing staff, fostering engagement and professional growth

Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams for care coordinatio
