Objective of the position
The Quality Technician supports quality efforts across multiple production lines. This role involves acting as the primary production quality contact and resolving production line issues.
Characterization of activities
Initiates, based on production issues, Problem Solving activities. This includes the initial Problem Statement and 4M analysis (Man, Machine, Material, Method). Complex problems will be escalated to the Quality Engineer.
Participating in 8D Problem Solving activities.
Performs Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Layered Process Audits (LPA’s) to preventively improve production quality and increase the First Time Quality (FTQ).
Guide Production Trial Runs (PTR’s) for initial samples or continuous improvement activities.
Education, Experience And Knowledge
Intermediate vocational (MBO+) level of education and thinking in mechanical or electrical engineering
Green belt certification or willing to obtain
Demonstrated experience in 4M analysis and Problem Solving tools like 3L5W, Fishbone diagram or Failure Tree analysis.
Self-motivated and team-work spirit
Confident and willing to deal with problems and new tasks
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken in English and Dutch is preferable
You need to have a valid work visa for The Netherlands.
